After juggling a rigorous career in Facilities Management for various fashion and tech companies and shooting part-time for 10 years, I finally took the leap to the full time freelance world in November of 2021 and haven’t looked back since!

The Catch by Elyse was founded by me in 2018 and is now based in the Bronx, NY. The name originates from my idea that spectacular images are mostly “captured” or “caught” in spontaneity and naturalism...in those moments that we least expect. “The real beauty is captured in between poses.”
